Walk on Earth

walkonearth.jpg: Walk on Earth Walk on earth fashion show may seem a strange place to see BioPaints name.. but the opportunity to be associated with a show whose theme was Walk on Earth was too good to be missed. Innovative design is exciting just like BioPaints, where concern for the environment and consumer's health is vitally important.

The successful 'Walk On' series of fashion shows this year had the theme 'Walk on Earth' and featured a mix of well known and emerging Wellington fashion labels featuring Robyn Mathieson, House of Hank, Starfish, Mandatory, Miriam Gibson, Voon, Sophie Voon Bridal, Andrea Moore, Bucks, Desire, Plush, Ricochet, Ruby, Victoire, deNada, Haley Smith, Laurie Foon, Tymone Winter and Zantis. Held at the Old Museum on Buckle Street, Wellington on the 6th September, 'Walk on Earth' showcased the latest designs for the coming spring and summer seasons set amongst waterfalls, rocks and lush tropical plants.

A huge volcanoe erupted at the start of the show with papier-mâché rocks and boulders (painted with BioPaints Wall Paint) falling from the smoking mountain giving the show an exciting and artistic start. Around 600 people were at the event which supported the Wellington City Mission's youth programme.
